Lady Champagne

From Queertactics

High Camp is back! Champagne White, the gloriously outrageous drag icon from D’Arcy Drollinger’s cult hit SHIT & CHAMPAGNE, is back – and this time, she’s in deep trouble. Framed for the death of her brand-new husband, the infamous San Francisco dancer must take on shady businesswomen, spectacularly incompetent detectives, and sadistic prison guards. Luckily, Champagne has plenty of wit, nerve, and sparkle up her sleeve. Featuring more than 80 queer and trans performers, plus slapstick, action, and unapologetically raunchy absurdity, LADY CHAMPAGNE turns the camp dial all the way up. Inspired by 1970s sexploitation cinema and comedy classics like AIRPLANE! and THE NAKED GUN, Drollinger’s film is a gloriously chaotic joyride packed with glitter, outrageous gags, and queer excess. Nothing stays tasteful for long, and no one is safe from the punchlines. In short: It’s camp. It’s queer. It’s completely unhinged. Go for it!
